Individual Counseling (18+)
Sometimes the best place to start is with ourselves. Finding the source of our anxiety, depression, self-doubt, or inability to maintain healthy relationships can be a difficult journey but so worthwhile in the end. Many times I find that after my clients spend time working on themselves, they feel comfortable inviting important members of their life into the therapeutic process to resolve past hurts allowing them to move forward to a healed and healthy future.
Trying to remember WHY you wanted to find your person and fall in love? I hear you. Big fight or little fights, every day or just about the same thing once a month. It doesn't matter because they can add up to the same resentment or hopelessness that leads you to start daydreaming of finding a way out even though you would love to find a way to fix it. Sometimes a little outside help is needed to find the light at the end of the tunnel. I enjoy working with couples to help them move past the anger and hurt and get back to liking each other again.
I offer premarital counseling to couples in order to address those "future life" challenges: establishing traditions, fighting fair, children, finances, shared and individual goals (and how to deal with your new in-laws!)
"Bridging the Gap"
The time span between the winter holidays is rife with heavy mental and domestic load and, especially this year, can feel like a period in which we are just barely getting by. But what if you could move beyond surviving those weeks and, instead, THRIVE?
This 21-day reset (November 29 through December 19) is designed to resource you with yoga practices complemented by supportive mental health education and techniques to assist you in moving through the holiday season and forward into a purposeful and healthy 2021. Bridging the Gap is led by Tracey Garcia, E-RYT 500 and Katie Pace, LMFT, who are joining their experience, education and skill base to guide you in reframing your mindset and restoring your sense of wholeness.
~ this online workshop is psychoeducational in nature and is not intended as a replacement for therapy~
